Primal:Khaos Sniper Rifle design

Here's a weapon design for Primal:Khaos. This was a design that was more of an experiment, rather than being based on actual sniper designs. I was just trying to get it down to basic shapes, and work it up to a design from there. I also really wanted to do something with the barrel, with the hovering translucent plates.

I moved the sketches into Photoshop, and developed them, ironing out some kinks and tidying it up.

From that, I finished up the design, and added the glowing highlights. This was the final design, and I was pretty happy with it.

The 3D model for this one from Rob came out looking really good. I think the idea of simplifying the appearance down into basic shapes translated well into the design.
