Another vowel for you! If you follow my instagram, you'll have seen that this is a letter I reworked, especially the line work. I wasn't entirely sure how to do the dot on the lower-case 'i', but rather than have it floating above the main body, I thought I'd go with a circular motif at the top of the body. Looking at it now, I think I gave it a little bit of a 'Sonic Screwdriver' look, which is no bad thing. #letters #finishedart #scifi #sketches #lettering #typography

Another of my Mechanical text experiments. As you may be able to tell, I started off by working through the vowels. Yep, I'm going Scrabble-style here. One of the great things about working on Impirium has been trying brand new stuff. Making an alphabet was a first, and I was pretty much working from scratch, and trying to strike a balance between making it legible and making it look alien. I made a revision of the letters 'P' and 'R', as the originals were too similar. For my first alphabet, only having to revise two letters felt pretty good.
